Where I Expected A Shadow
The cube interrupts the face I recognise. I had assumed that the shadow cast by the cube would allow me to differentiate it from the rest of the painting; however, the manner in which the surfaces and colour are lit makes differentiating the two extremely difficult.
"Shadow-less" appears on the record. A title that seems to suggest that something ambiguous is clear.
